Weather for next week

Hey all,
Look's like I may need to travel to film the Venus transit as the weather forecast for Sydney is not looking optimistic...the question is where then?

Alice springs looks good..

What can I say?
The level of "bad luck" required to have a cloudy day here in Central Australia gives you an idea of what we expect. Both Alice Springs and here in Tennant Creek we are expecting another clear day. According to AccuWeather the forecast is "Plenty of Sunshine" . I hope they're right!

ALICE SPRINGS IS OUT FOR ME - WELL OVER $1500 TO GET THERE AND IF I AM LUCKY GET BACK. if i am also lucky i might be able to get a flight at 6am wed morning to get there by 7.30 and out side the airport and set up by 8.15 - but i would be pushing that too. i have just had a project here at work go pear shape and have to prepare a report and costings - and i cant go until i get it done.....
