A short Trio

I shot the Leo Trio earlier this month. I wanted to go longer in exposure but, alas, the clouds did not allow. So. I got just under 4 hours. This target really deserves more. Still, 4 hours is better than none!

Wonderful!

You caught those outer halos of stars and the tidal stream really clearly.

Greg.

Top image what we all strive for, but only 4 response's, that sucks, some people just don't recognize quality when they see it but will reward mediocrity. The extent of the tidal stream from the Hamburger is amazing.

How can the tidal stream be so long! That's incredible. An incredible image too!

I've only seen the results from two of the AP RHAs and they seem to me to be simply the best astrographs available at present - though no doubt they are also in the hands of two of the best astrophotographers around too...

Thanks so much for posting,
Cam
