the new pentax zoom arrived 3 days brfore the weather did.
in my skywatcher 127 mak the zoom is great, goes to 6.5mm without any ghosting and stays crystal clear. the limit of the 127 mak is a 6mm. the closest i have got is a tmb 5mm which is no good in this scope.
The zoom mechanism is very, very stiff so the screws need to be done up tightly.
i got my best image of saturn so far with my cannon eos 1100d body held against this zoom with a celestron camera mount.
