Earthshine this evening

Here's a hand-held pic of the crescent moon tonight, exposed to highlight the Earthshine. The Moon was about to set behind our trees and I couldn't find the tripod adaptor, so just rested the camera up against the side of the observatory.

Nikon D7000
ISO 1000
1 sec
f/2.8
fl = 200 mm
manual focus
matrix metering - exposure comp +0.7
No processing - just converted from RAW to small jpg.

Thanks all - and I found the adaptor buried in the camera bag.

I might try a pic through the 5" refractor next new moon to see if I can capture some more detail.
