Super Moon Just taken Tonight
Hi Guys just took this image about 2 hours ago across Alva Beach near Ayr, North Queensland.
A humble attempt, as it looked better in real life

Looks good to me Leon!
Alva is a nice little spot isn't it. I've had some sugarcane trials going near Kalamia Mill (between Ayr and Alva) for the last few years, so have wandered along Alva beach several times.
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks for your compliment Jeanette, it was nice to sit near the water and have some nibbles while it rose above the horizon.

Beautiful composition. I'm really enjoying seeing these eclipse-like moonrises.
