New Hydrogen Alpha images

Howdy all
Heres some new 7 Nanometre H Alpha images taken under the 3/4 full moon.

Eta Carina Nebula, 6 x 200 sec ISO 800

IC 2944 "Running Chicken" nebula 3 x 200 sec ISO 1600

Both taken with my 6 inch F3.6 Schmidt Newtonian and Coma Corrector through the Baader 7 Nm Ha filter. I had to focus by trial and error as nothing is visible through the filter (except Jupiter when it was up)

Thanks.
The filter is an un mounted 2 inch diameter Baader filter, gold on one side, pinkish red on the other. It was a prototype they gave to me for using some of my images on their site here

I tried shooting the Horsehead and was a bit dissapointed, I think the Horsehead gives off not just H Alpha light but some H Beta as well?

Eta Carina really does well with a H A filter though.
