I was nearly to embarrassed to get it out, so to speak.

Yep, funny stuff Leon

They are becoming popular around the world.

There are even some that have completely glass walls. You can see out like there is no wall at all, yet no-one can see in. It doesn't even appear dark as one way glass usually does.
It's like standing in the street and having a piss!!!!

Little Creatures brewery has that, you are standing there at the urinal which covers you to about chest high, then it is glass and you are watching the bottling line and the LC's staff

I also read a repair-man story many years ago in Silicon Chip magazine about a night club toilet (I think it was in Melbourne) that had clear glass cubicles, but when you sit down the glass would change to an opaque frosty white to give you privacy.
However the system used movement sensors, so if someone sat very still while doing whatever they were doing, after some time the system would think the occupant had left and the glass would change translucent again... Surprise!!!
The Silicon Chip repair-man was called in to try and fix the problem

I knew someone who had a loo in which all four walls, the door, floor and ceiling were covered in 15 cm mirror tiles with LED's between the corners. When you closed the door the LED's turned on and you were in a chamber of infinite reflections in every direction... ... usually the ladies screamed, which was a bit of a joke.

...I wonder if the owner reads IIS...
