Who's going to be at Parramatta tomorrow?

I hope to be there with my dob

The first year Parra park held the out reach event, i think over 200 people ..is that possible?..looked through my telescope

Tomorrow is supposed to be fine....fingers crossed

Star Gazing @ Parramatta Park

Join us for a fascinating evening with amateur astronomers who will share their passion for the night sky. FREE EVENT presented by Parramatta Park Trust in association with Sutherland Astronomical Society, Astronomical Society of New South Wales, Western Sydney Amateur Astronomy Group and 3RF Australia.

When : Apr 28, 2012 from 05:30 pm to 08:00 pm
Where : Salter's Field Parramatta Park

Amateur Astronomers from Sutherland Astronomical Society, Astronomical Society of New South Wales , Western Sydney Amateur Astronomy Group and 3RF Australia will be set up in Salter's Field with their telescopes and will be able to show you objects in deep space through their amazing equipment.
There will be talks about the Parramatta Observatory at the Parramatta Park Café and Event Centre-
  • 6.00 pm Dr Ragbir Bhathal: The scientific achievements of the Parramatta observatory.
  • 6.45 pm Dr Peter Tyler: Governor Brisbane: Patron of Australian Science
Seating is limited so be prepared to come early to secure a seat.
Galileo, Newton, the Governor and the Parramatta Observatory
