M104 with new QSI683

Hi everyone, here is a quick shot of M104, the Sombrero Galaxy, which I took the other day. This is a crop of the galaxy itself, resized to about 80%.
I wanted some more data for this but I have since had to take a break while installing a larger secondary mirror. So in the meantime I decided to process the data I've got so far...

Full res image is here (LRGB 90:17:17:17m): http://www.pbase.com/rolfolsen/image/142881669/original

I think it turned out quite well. The limiting magnitude is definitely deeper than what I could reach with the ToUCam; a lot of M104's globular clusters are easily visible in the image and they are around magnitude 21.

Regards,
Rolf

Yep, not too bad at all!! More data would be good. Can't wait to see what your new mirror produces.

Thanks Graham, yeah I'm still waiting for a new mirror, it might take a while yet though.
