Amazing image, the integration time seems mammoth until you realise that their 6 identicle mountain top scopes can do it all in one night.

Yeah, the PI guys go a bit over board with hard processing sometimes I worry (what would David M say!?), but you have to give it Jack Harvey and crew, they do amazing work with amazing gear.

I am surprised there is not more detail for such a long exposure
Where are the blue arcs and other details which are seen in images taken by Mike Sidonio and others
Is it to do with the different filters ect

No Ron, Mike Sidonio's scope is not very well corrected.
