Hi guys,
Sorry to disappoint you all, but I bombed out on the first question of my Millionaire Hotseat filming.
I was the sixth contestant, the first two elected to pass early. The third guy *(who used to be a male go-go dancer at King Cross Whiskey a go-go club!!! ) managed to score 4 questions, then bombed out.
The fourth and fifth contestant bombed out on their first questions (both of which I can answer!).
I was given the question “which movie was Bill Murray not in?” The choices where Groundhog Day, Lost in Translation, Accidental Tourist or Caddyshack.
I answered Caddyshack as I thought it was Dan Akyord.
Even if I got that question right (Accidental Tourist), I would have struggled with the following question:
Which sport is Jan Stephenson associated with: tennis, golf, swimming or squash?
Answer: Golf.
The last two questions were easy, but I was already out.
In the end the first contestant (who did a strategic pass early) got in and won $20k.
But it was a good experience none the less. Eddie was nice and chatty too .
Will let you know when the episode will be shown on TV and look out for my (ahem) colourful shirt
Bo
Awe ....bummer on the bomb out Bo!
I would have either guessed nr 2 or 3....prob 2.....
As for Jan S. , I would have gone squash
Well Done on the effort though....would have been a great experience none the less I'm sure!
There's always a next time!
Cheers
Bartman
Thanks Bart, pop culture and sports are not my greatest strengths, I am more of a science, history and current affairs/politics kinda of nerd.
It is for a 5:30pm audience, so I should have known better...

Hehehe
I'm not much the sports or lit or history type....however I consider myself a jack of all trades - master of none
Btw could you not 'pass'?
Cheers Ken,
The crew was very professional and friendly (until I bought up your name , only kidding).
Eddie for his part was very friendly and made a real effort at making sure the contestant was relaxed.
Bart, I was the sixth contestant, with only 4 questions to go, and two more contestant behind me, so if I passed, there is virtually no way of me getting back in.

That's the game. I would have answered both of those, in particular, correctly. Whose to say on a subsequent question I wouldn't have done the same as yourself? No-one knows them all.
Given that, I can't believe you didn't know who Jan Stephenson was - even if you aren't into sport. She's still the most famous female golfer - ever:

Nope, still not a clue Chris, my mate had a poster of Sam Fox on his wall, so I kinda knew her
I didn't know any of those answers or have clue who Jan Stevenson is , though I do know those 80's , it is 80's right ? hair styles are just as scary today as they were back then.
