GSO RC-8" Focuser issue

Hey guys,

Just a quick question:

Anybody know whether the new models of RC's , from GSO, need to have their focuser replaced, like the older models?
Been following some of the posts of ppl that have used them in the past like Paul Haese, etc. Was just wondering if they fixed the issue with the newer models.

Thanks

My focuser on the GSO RC8 CF is rock solid and it is the one with the linear bearing.
There is no shift in mine and i have a QHY9 + filter wheel and field flattener hanging of it.

Thanks martin,

I'm planning to use a RC-8" with a 80mm Orion Guiding scope and Guider and a Parsec 8300M camera and 2" motorized filter wheel on a Skywatcher NEQ6 mount.
