Heres large and small scale finder sharts for it generated with Star Atlas Pro. The nebula is easy to photograph but VERY hard to see. It took Andrew Murrels "Hector" 20 inch Dob at Lostock to see it.

Just a challenge from Scott to image He2-111. Here it is. 6 x 21 second stacked with IR Filter removed. Looks like a red jelly bean to me . Hope I got the right object

Way to go!
Great stuff getting he2-111, as I mentioned before, it required Andrew Murrel's 20 inch "Hector" just to see it visually and that was at Lostock and I could only just see it. Keep up the good work

I forgot to ask, was that with or without the IR filter.
Heres another challenge, its a red nebula near the southern cross, RCW 70. Thanks.
