Exciting news!!

Woo Hoo!! I made the front cover of February edition of the UK publication "The Astronomer" This time with my image of the LMC / Comet Lovejoy conjunction.
It's the 3rd time I've been asked to submit an image for the mag. The first was in Oct 2010 with a deep shot of the LMC, and the second was an image of Antares with his beautiful reflection nebula that featured on the back cover of the 2011 May edition.

hee hee, I can't get that Dr Hook song out of my head now.

Well done Nettie. Shows that you've got to be in it to win it!

You need to come back sown south and give me a shot of your enthusiasm again. LOL

Well done Jeanette. I hope that Dr Hook song is not "Sylvia's Mother".

How about a few beers at SPSP in April (in exchange for a back seat coffee)

well done and congratulations jjj

I had "walk right in, sit right down" going on in my head - wasn't sure how it fitted so, thanks for clarifying.

Also, only on an astro forum could you get away with saying "lovely tight stars" without getting your face slapped!
