Showing on ABC 1 tonight in a few minutes time starting at 22:49 AEDT is the
original 1962 "The Manchurian Candidate" filmed by the late, great
John Frankenheimer and staring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey and
Janet Leigh.

An unforgettable great movie. A cold war thriller with touches of satirical black comedy.
