waiting, waiting and more waiting

I bought my telescope six weeks ago and besides all the rain we have had, not been unable to get it outside to view anything and then waiting to recieve the power station I still can't get it out there, besides the fact that my back yard ends up like a river.
There has been a few really beautiful nights with a good bright moon and the stars shining like diamonds in the sky. I have to wait for another 4 weeks to get moving after fracturing my foot and having it in a
stabilising boot. I must be the most patent person around at the moment. I have looked forward so very much to actually getting a view.
I get so excited looking at what everyone here has seen on their scopes and this just makes me more determind to wait.
I certainly look forward to sharing my experiences soon.

Keep your chin up.
Go over the other side of the mountains and it will be a whole new ball game.

Cheers
