White Light Sun - Feb 17

Some white light sun images from earlier today. C6SE + various combinations of 0.63x and 0.5x focal reducers + Wratten #25R filter with DMK21AU04 camera.

The full disc is a stitch of two panels, with a couple of close ups of the active regions.

Ted, and Ray,

I have to agree with you -- that's the image I was out to get, and the one I'm most happy with. While sunspots are interesting, I really like the bright faculae best, especially when they are close to the limb like that.

Thanks for the comments.

P.S. It was stacked with Autostakkert 2. I tried Registax 5 & 6 as well, the results were not as good.
