ngc 5128

trying the Sac Mintron on some deeper space objects,
Zenithstar 80, no barlow and single frame with no processing, it was early in the night with a fair bit of light pollution, with better conditions and the new colour filter wheel l think these cameras have a lot of potential.

Great start for a single shot there Mick. Yes i think the're a brilliant camera!
How long was the exposure and what was the ISO setting at?

sense up 128x
auto gain on
exposure set at 12000.

DOH!...Sorry Mick i must have bumped my head somewhere after answering your thread on the 350d. i was thinking that you took that shot with the 350d until i re-read it after replying

l haven't picked up the 350D yet, probably tomorrow morning, should be fun, if l run into trouble you can come over and give me a crash course

I'm only still a beginner and learning with the 350d and photography in general but if there is anything i can help you with i'd be happy to do so.
