iceman on digg.com!

Mike and all,

Congratulations Mike, on being digg'ed! for your fantastic Jupiter effort.

No doubt that will also increase some web site traffic and hopefully some new users!

Regards,
Humayun

Well done, Mike. very well done!!!!!

I've just had a look at some of the comments posted at digg.

The usual combo of well deserved praise, begrudging respect and critics.

Man, did I laugh when I read that one comment that speculated you must be using adaptive optics.

It must be time for you to 'fess up Mike. Come on. We know you're secretly producing those images on a NASA budget.

Thanks, I didn't know about digg.com before now either.. Fraser (from UT) emailed me telling me he submitted the story to digg.com, so I went and had a look. It got "picked up" (whatever that means) and appears on the homepage and generates lots of traffic to the site.

And I agree, some very interesting comments

What is it now? Four flukes in a row? Well deserved recognition for superb images generated with skill and determination. Mike did not use adaptive optics, I think he used adaptive knowledge and skill.
You know you have done something out of the ordinary when the nay sayers and doubting Thomases come out of the woodwork.
Again congratulations on well deserved widespread recognition.
