Rough test with extension tubes/ homemade EP adaptors
and one of my trusty SPC900 webcams.
This was only a prelim test without an IR filter to check
focus distance...I didn't quite expect to get any detail.
A more serious effort will now follow in the next month or so
just to record something from this apparition.
I haven't done any Mars stuff for yonks.
Good start Steve. I see you are using 9mm eyepiece projection, that is what I use to use in the 1980s with film camera. Thought it was a lost art, obviously not.
Nice result Steve. The weather in Adelaide has been hopeless for the last couple of weeks. It had better improve soon with opposition only a month away.
