SN slightly out of kilter

I think there's a thread in here somewhere already about this. I think it's by davidpretorius, but I can't find it.

So, apologies for going over the same ground but I too noticed this morning when looking at Jupiter a discrepency between what I was seeing in the ep to what Starry Night said I should have seen.

At around 3-30 this morning the GRS was very close to the CM, yet SN shows its approaching the limb. What's the story?

It appears to be about an hour out, which would suggest a connection to daylight saving but the clock at the top of the SN page shows the correct local time. Any suggestions for something I may have left checked/unchecked in the software??? Anyone care to instruct me how to fix it?

It could be the latitude of the GRS - I have it set to 103° on the "Jupiter 2" program I use. I'm not sure where/if it's configurable in StarryNight.

1/8 to 1/10 of a rotation i estimate (so yes roughly an hour), so I always allow for it when forecasting ahead

My old snp 4.5.2 is always accurate with planet faces, I think maybe you dont have the daylight savings icon highlighted - click on the sun symbol.
I know daylight savings finishes very soon, then it will be correct hehe

Does your program run ahead or behind time???

By that I mean what adjustment do you make?
