Hello all,
A short time ago I asked if a little netbook would be suitable for what I wanted to do with it

While it probably would have been ok, I have now decided to increase my budget and get something more powerful.
So.....hypothetically, I am giving you up to $1000 to spend on a laptop. What would you buy? Brand/Model? Features? If you could post a link to what you would buy I would really appreciate it.
