I have for sale my Stellarvue 80mm f/560mm Aplanat .
It is a beautiful little grab and go scope, beautiful pearl white paint , small and light weight very well made with premium " Lanthium " glass in one lense and a super smooth focuser , so she is a semi apo . A huge step up from a ST80 and only a little down on my ED80 in colour correction , with very sharp optics.
Stellarvue only made 150 of these and this is number 109 , but with the advent of cheep chinese ED glass the production of these Lanthium's was stopped as the ED proved cheeper to manufacture.
This scope is very good optically , but has a small flat spot seen at 3 o'clock as seen in the front on picture on the sliding dew shield , but its really not noticable unless you look for it , no paint is chipped and it does not effect the views at all .The brown mark on the dew shield is a mark left over from a bit of tape and has since been cleaned off.
It comes as an OTA only with SV tube rings, and vixen dove tail . The mount , finder and diagonal in the photos are not for sale.
Thanks for looking .
Its a steal at $180 + shipping in its origonal box .
PM me if interested .Thanks.
Brian.

The 150 is going great and would go even better if we get some clear wind free nights :-)
Got an Orion 9mm ED Long Eye Relief for it. Very nice it is to.
Still hunting the elusive Tripod.
Waiting for Andrews to get the new T-2 Alt-Az in next mounth. It's an Explore Scientific Twilight 2 under a different name (off course). Asked ES about shipping a Twilight 2 to Oz and they quoted $320 for postage!!!! All to Andrews.coms advantage.
Cool Trevor , glad to hear that , the Celestron GOTO mount you are looking at would hold the 150 well .The two OTA's ( C8 and 150mm ) are similar in weight and length .
