Even more Lovejoy Fever (sorry!) 27th Dec

Certainly not up to the standards as other fine folk here, but I thought I'd post this shot anyway. This is my first time actually trying to shoot something in the night sky, so I'm fairly pleased with it. Jeanette was kind enough to let Shell and myself harass her on the 27th when we were trying to find somewhere cloud free. This little spot in Kilcoy did quite nicely. Thanks again jjj!

Also, I put together this very short timelapse you may be interested in, though something happened with the white balance (or something, not sure what exactly) for many of my images so it's even shorter than I expected it to be.

1080p and fullscreen will of course look better! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA4rayF7vYQ

Comments much appreciated!

Great result for you first night capture.

This pic shows why I couldn't see it with the naked eye last night!
Fading away.....

Nice shot

You've also got a trail down the lower left of your piccie....might be a plane (looks like a string of little blobs).

Cheers Carl! Yeah I believe it was a Plane, I was going to use one of the couple of shots after this one but it was further across the frame and a little more distracting I thought.
