Comet Lovejoy Vic central 28-12-2011

Hi All,

Here's the first one from this morning's set of pictures.

Still processing the rest, need a rest myself.

Took the missus and kids out with me this morning, that should have ensured cloudy conditions, but again central Victoria remained clear, windy and cold, but clear.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Justin/Lester,

It's a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, picked it up from eBay yesterday for just under $600. It's a bit soft at the edges and I don't have a correction map for Lightroom, yet, hence the edges are a bit wonky.

It gets pretty good reviews even wide open, all the other UWA lenses I looked at you had to use stopped down anyway (or take out a second mortgage for a Nikon 24 f/1.4). It was also available and in Melbourne so I knew I could get it yesterday.

Cheers
Stuart
