Projector lenses

G'day All,

We are doing a bit of a clean up around the planetarium and we have decided to toss out some old slide projectors. They have a small lens set in them, 2 x plano-convex and 1x diffuser. The lenses are 2" in diameter.

Does anyone know of a use for these lenses? Using them to make a small scope or something like that?

If the slide projectors are in working order why not offer them in the Buy & Sell there maye be some takers.

Normally Phil, I would offer them in Buy & Sell but the way things work here at the planetarium I can't. The projectors are single shot, meaning they only take one slide, so they have limited usefulness.

I have read somewhere that slide projector lens can be put to good use in ATM.
I think perhaps on Cloudy Nights?
