Baby Crow

We had a bit of wind recently and it blew this baby out of it's nest or maybe the other baby threw it out. But we decided to look after the baby here are some happy snaps we are feeding it just like mum does you know the finger right down the gob.

Update on Frankie Blue Eyes the crow he is doing well and goes on our walks with the cat walking beside us while the cat is on her lead. Luna isn't quite sure what to make of it especially today when Frankie started hopping straight towards her she was backing up unsure what to think.

We are not restraining Frankie at all he is just sitting on a perch in our carport day and night we are feeding him and today we had flying lessons and finally learned how to land on his feet as apposed to his head

Great Stuff Warren Crows are a much maligned creature ,but they do a great job of cleaning up the road kill and other dead creatures .
It will be interesting to see how far your story goes

Great job warren. Crows and ravens are supposed to be one of the smartest of the birds, they have been known to fashion tools in the wild to poke out worms and bugs from holes.
I am sure you will look after it well and don't be surprised if he drops by after you release him back to the wild.

They are very smart check out this video and this video the crow actually adapted his chosen tool to make it better for the job

And they are one of the few birds that have learnt to turn over cane toads and eat them without dying themselves

Have fun.
