Orion Wide Field

After a stinking hot 38 degree day, it was so pleasant to be able to sit outside for hours in the cool of the evening.
I gathered 20x10 minute subs using the Canon 20d (modded) and the Canon Nifty Fifty lens. ISO800 and the lens set to F4.
Kinda hoped I'd get more of the dust in the region, but more than happy to have nabbed the Witch and Barnard,s Loop.

Very nicely done JJ. Looks like you might have a slight gradient there but regardless of that it's a well composed and executed image.

Cheers

Steve

gradient = street light
I prefer to think of it as extra nebulosity that no one else has ever managed to capture. (goes and puts head back in sand)
