Gum Nebula widefield

Hi all
Finished processing this image of the Gum Nebula area. Taken 2 nights ago.
2 x 5 mins ISO 800, 50mm canon lens at f4.5 with 2 inch uhcs filter sitting on front, modded eos 350D.
Dark subtracted and initially processed in IRIS, finished off in Photoshop.

When did you sneak this one in Scott???

Man we've gotta keep an eye on you. Or maybe send you some cloud for a while so the rest of us can catch up.

Oh abtw. Damn fine shot. I don't know if it's my monitor (I've been mucking around trying to calibrate it lately) but your image seems to be over sharpened or noisy. I can't quite work out what it is, but sharp is the word that comes to mind.

Thanks all.
I probably need to stack some more images in, though I might try reprocessing it with noiseware to see if I can smooth things a bit.
