Eastern Bearded Dragon.

Saw this Dragon lizard sitting on an ant mound, late in the afternoon.I used the Canon 400L and 50D at 1/320 of a second,F7.1.iso 400,manual mode.hand held.Fairly pleased to get the whole lizard in the frame.1st image-no cropping. Some work in levels.2nd crop of the head area.Target 6.5 m.I had to fiddle with the settings and focus point.

Thoughts and view points welcome. Thanks for looking-Chris

Thanks so much,Dennis-really appreciate your thoughts-your approach to nature photography has really taught me a great deal, and inspired me to get out and do this type of shot.

A most cooperative subject!

You've certainly got the sharpness in these pics nailed Chris.

Cool Chris, I actually photographed a similar type of lizard at Uluru this afternoon, (nothing like yours in quality however), beautiful image mate.

Very good shots Chris - I prefer #1 myself personally, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with either shot. Sharp, good exposure, lovely clean background. Nailed it.
