Live webcast from the Keck of asteroid flyby

Hi All,

Have attached a link to the live webcast tonight from the Keck telescopes at the summit of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Should be most interesting.

Pretty interesting stuff, just as the first Keck II image came up a massive electrical storm arrived out here at Broken Hill so had to shut down and pull all the plugs. Was interesting that the size of the asteroid appeared to be only half that of what had earlier been predicted.

Was great to get such a birds eye view into the Keck II control room, doesn't appear to have changes at all from 2008 when I had the honor of observing with Keck II for two nights in this same control room at Keck HQ in Waimea.

Cheers
Trevor
