back on the macro horse

Went to New Farm Park playground this morning, managed to sneak away from Kristy and Hayden for 20mins to take some macros. This time I used the gear I'm comfortable with, no experimentation, just relaxed shooting. Much happier with the keepers.

Good to see you happy again with your shooting combo - I can see why you like the MT-EX24 flash unit!

I'd have to pick the 4th shot - as the first 3 are slightly soft where it matters most imho. Lighting is very nice throughout though!

Lovely shots Troy. I like them all, but as Dennis said, that last spider is pretty cute

Thanks guys. Must admit my favourite when going through the set was the last little jumping spider as well, then the fly. We get caught up in having to fill the screen with the spider/insect etc, but sometimes you don't need to.

Note that little jumper shot was at 1:1 with the Sigma 150, just to give you idea of how small he was.
