Losmandy g11 motor noise

just setup my mount and i went to slew to an object and one of the motors was making a loud crunching sound. Its the first time its happened. What could be wrong with it?

Is the scope/counterweight well balanced?

does it make the same sound when you move the mount using the hand controller at a slower rate (ie not slew speed)?

yes at all speeds it makes the sound. but only when i press the right button on the controller.

ive found the problem. One of the motors was half hanging off the mount. I must of bumped the motor. I tell you what they do a crap job at holding the motors to the mount. They are held by a few plastic pins.

Not so on the Maxons. They bolt in with 2x allen screws

i have the maxon motors. i mean where you plug the motors into the mount.
