Thanx Brendan, Ross and Darrin,
The whole area of Orion is full of very faint nebulosity which I estimate doubling my exposure length to get some sought of hold of it ? ? Then again, some Neb Type filter may be the orthadox way of capturing it better, really not sure exactly, trial and error
, eh ?

Cheers Brendan, I would like another go, longer and more subs should help bring out more features, eh ?
Have a look at this other wider field ? I also captured the Larger loop, which is a milestone as well : ) It is a stitch of two single frames, upper and lower halves @ 70mm with the same Lens 3-4 mins each !

Very good Bob and there is so much going on which is why I enjoy this area of the spring/summer sky.
Good luck on future goes too!
Darrin...
Cheers Darrin : On this Wider field The witches head is also just barely noticeable in the top left corner, for the perspective and a challenge if the sky co-operates during the coming few months , ,
Ross, I will try this compo next time also, well as close as I can get, ive been wondering about adding in the third belt star Mintaka for a more complete aspect !? ?
Thumb .
