NGC 281 in Cassiopeia

Hello everyone.

Yes, we have seen this a few times so this is my attempt at it.

About 21 hours in all, taken with the 17" CDK and Astrodon NB filters (3nm OIII).

Thanks for looking and hope you like this version.

cheers
Martin

That dark dust lane is amazingly detailed, black dust patches show such fine detail.

An amazing photo Martin.

Excellent colour, detail and sharpness, but it's the composition that stands out.

Thanks.

Ross.

That's a fantastic image. The level of detail is amazing, looks to be very high resolution. The structure in the pillars and Bok globules is outstanding.
It's really impressive, thanks for the view.

Stupendous, Martin! And the palette straight from a Van Gogh painting (orange/blue). I too love all the detail in the dust, especially the sharp edges, the bok globules etc. SO much going on in there.
