HitecAstro EQDIR adapter

Howdy, to get my MAC talking to an EQ6 mount straight from Stellarium I apparently need an EQDIR adapter. Is anybody using this setup on a MAC successfully or know of some similar adapter for this? BTW I don't have a hand controller so the through the handset option is out.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks Jeremy, I had a look at that site this morning which sparked my interest in using the Mac for this. I will give it a crack but of the two EQDIR adapters / cables available one is twice as much as the other so I would just like to get some feedback if anyone is using one or the other on the Mac.

This is the other adapter (cheaper) available.

Thanks Jeremy. As it turns out an Australian company - Bintel - stock the adapter. One on the way. Will post results as soon as I get it cracking.
