AAQ - Change of speaker - Peter Read, SDM Telescopes.

Peter Read is popping up to Qld for the weekend to give SDM001 (see the telescopes for sale section) a good service. I took the opportunity of collering him for a talk!

Anyone fancy coming along to hear him talk about Big Dobs, we are in the Parnell Lecture theatre of the UQ at St lucia - 4pm til 6, this Saturday, the 8th of Oct. Everyone is very welcome and this talk is sure to be fun

Jonathan,

I'm going to be in Bris-Vegas from Wednesday till Sunday and will be staying at Kangaroo Point. How far is it to UQ from there? I'm not familiar with Bris at all.

Would be nice to catch up with Peter, haven't seen him in ages!

Across the goodwill bridge is about 1 1/2 k if it's the campus in town - if it's the St Lucia one, then hop on the Citycatferry

It's the St Lucia one and yes, UQ is very well connected by ferry (a beutiful way to get there) or by bus.

We can make sure you get back alright...
