NGC247 Test

I haven't used the FS-102 in quite a while and tried it out last week. I was pretty disappointed in the result so I cleaned the optics and got it going with the OAG. I found one counterweight wasn't enough for the single scope/camera and two was too much so I had to add weight to the scope to get balance. But it's all looking ok now

Just a quicky, NGC 247, a dim grayish blob near 253.
2hours Lum binx1 10min subs, 15min each RGB binx2 5min subs.

You're off to a good start there. Maintenance on equipment is an ongoing thing and there is often something needing to be tweaked.

A nice galaxy shot Robin, with a few more little galaxies in the background.

Looks good.

Ross.
