Shapes and colors in the dust...

I hope you like the vision of this area in the constellation Cepheus full of intricate vdB ans Sh2 catalog objects with areas of dust and haze.

Specifically it is the reflection nebulae vdB 149 and vdb 150. The shape of the dust in which they are embedded is reminiscent of a shark (head up) ....

Thanks for looking.
Greetings to all and clear skies.

Leo

That is a super image. I love the rich colours and these semi luminescent dust images. Fabulous. A great matchup of camera and scope.

Greg.

I think this is just wonderful, casting light on these dark areas and so splendidly presented.

Great work, I had a look through your website too, certainly some lovely images there, although I think sitting in a carpark surrounded by snow collecting the data is hard going. You also have some fantasic scenery over there too. We don't get mountains like that here.

That is some amazing dust, and a very well done image. I like the smooth look it has while still showing off so much detail. Thanks for sharing this.

This is stunning Leo!
So much dust captured, great processing in the way there is great visual depth and intensity of colour.

Cool, four objects in one shot... !
