New scope on its way

Been looking for something smaller to supplement the GSO RC10
So tomorrow I should receive a new Orion 102CF triplet .
Going by specs it should be very nice for wider field imaging especially
with its 3" focuser.

If it makes you feel better, Melbourne had typical Melbourne weather for the last two nights, it's p!ssing down right now, and more rain right to Sat (at least the GF will be more interesting)

Well have had a play with it in doors - clouds of course - and so far very
impressed with the build quality. Most impressive is the huge 3" focuser
which seems rock solid and built like a truck , its much better than what was on the RC10 . It has a screw on 3" - 2" adapter so would easily cover
a large CCD and support quite a bit of weight. Even though its CF its still quite heavy at 12lb and uses ED FPL-53 glass and has a screw on metal lens cap , I am really looking forward
to giving it some light
