A Few Fun Shots of Planes

Hi Guys, where we are camped at the present near Darwin, we are very close to the airport and flight path, so i sometimes get out there and photograph some planes as they do their stuff.

I'm still waiting to capture a RAAF Hercules which comes over from time to time, but seem to miss ie each time, as i cant get a time for it when it leaves or returns, anyway that will happen sometime.

Just a few fun shots, thanks for looking.

Leon

re planes

Nice series of photographs,Leon.

No 1 is of particular note-the angle and way late evening sun is lighting the plane.I also like how the lights of under the wing can be seen.

Looking forward to see a series of the C 130,unfortunately their days are numbered

Thanks Chris, mate I'm hanging out for the Raaf's C-17 Globemaster that flies into and out of Darwin each couple of days seem to be in the wrong place at the right time every time.

Nice shots Leon – this must be a boy-thing as I enjoy seeing photos of aeroplanes, especially good ones such as these. As Chris mentioned, the morning/evening light on #1 makes this one pop!

Can’t wait to see the Globemaster!

Cheers
