I was lucky enough to meet Rex Walheim the other day. Rex was mission specialist and flight engineer on the last shuttle flight and has been on two other shuttle missions. He's clocked up over 500 hours in space, including 35 hours doing spacewalks.
A really charming and engaging guy - it was a bit of a thrill to meet him.
He liked the fact that I've looked a earthbound photos of the ISS on this website and now met someone who's been inside it!
Sadly, I missed his public Q&A session yesterday which, by all accounts, was terrific.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my "star" moment
