Welcome to the world

I am very proud to welcome my first Grandaughter Tayla to the world.

Born last night at around 6:30pm weighing in at 8lb 3 oz.
Both mother and baby doing very well after 3 days of labour followed by a CSection birth. Looks like she was comfortable and not coming out.

Can't wipe the smile off my wife and mothers faces. I better buy her a telescope for Christmas.

Congratulations Caroline and Tim. Your worries start now.

Congrats on the cute package. Couldn't help noticing she's got her granpop eyes and stare. Is she going to be trouble?

Buy her a telescope and some Vegemite.
May the g-.d's bless them, may there always be food in the house, love in the heart, and friends to help with the troubles.

Congratulations Doug & Family
How exciting!!!!!!

Oh my... 3 days of labour and then after all that, end up having to go through a C section?" She must be so exhausted and in pain. Having gone through one myself, I can relate, but at least I didn't have to endure a marathon three day labour !

A thought just entered my mind actually, Doug...
I've heard that babies born under "C" section are calmer, cry less, and sleep more. It's said it's because they don't go through the trauma of the birth process. I don't know how accurate this all is, but I know with my daughter, she was exactly that.
That being said ... and as this hobby requires a calm temperament, I"m thinking that perhaps she's a born astronomer. So I'd be getting that scope pronto.
Buy her an Ethos for her first birthday and get her started properly.

Thanks everyone. Off to Wodonga again today with my mother to see them both. 93 years old and still going fine. She is so excited, I just hope her heart can handle it all. Something for her to live on for.

Congratulations mate! Pass my best to all the women in your family!

Might have to move that dome full of toys out of the back yard, to make a play area for Tayla, I might by able to mind it for you for a while!

Congratulations Doug .... I'm still waiting for mine
You know what the " best " part is .... when you've got them for the whole day .... you can " hand " them back later.
She'll bring lots of JOY for all.

Congratulations Doug, bet you can't wipe the smile off your own dial either! And she'll definitely need a scope for Christmas and just as well she's got you to mind it for her!
