Camp Sites in Oberon Area

Just playing about in Google Maps. Here's a map of camp sites local to Oberon:

http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?ms...cd9582a10e3cd1

Apart from bushwalking and adventure motorcycling I've added comments relevant to astronomy so you can see if the site does it for you.

Let me know what you think. It's been a while since I've been to all of these spots, so some info that's sketchy I've indicated with question marks.

Al.

Hi Al

I was last there with the Landrover Club. We camped on the river banks, and I remember that we were there for a cleanup of some public area where the bins were overflowing. It's been better since then I believe. So, that can't be much help. I remember it was very nice though! I'll see if I can find the itinerary.

Not here is it Chris?

There is crown land on the eastern side of the old ford/crossing. Its been a long time since I was last in there. It was badly eroded and I don;t remember any facilities like bins though.
