Tarantula nebula Ha

Hi seem to be in practice my processing mode as I am too tired to get the scope out (Schools out of control) and it is too wet. Taken with W/O Flt 110 3 hours at 15 min subs, 7nm Ha and no darks. Camera is a QHY-9 mono at -20c. Any comments to help would be great.

Looks very nice to me Mark. I really appreciate the mono Ha images now. The detail from them is just superb. You could maybe lift the filiments a bit and add a more 3D appearance by doing some selective sharpening of some of the finer edges but the image is Ok as it stands.
Well done.

An excellent photo Mark.

Sharp, full tonal range and depth.

That's the bee's knees Mark.
Don't know why you feel the need to go see Blockie for tuition. You could be teaching him.

Wow, what a stunner Mark. Right through the goal-posts for me. I love the framing, and softness/detail seems just right. Top stuff.

Thank you all and thank you JJJ. I took this one night at Paul's and I think you were there. My intention was to take all the colours but could not manage to change the filter wheel from Ha to any other colour. I got colour data later but don't have the knowledge of how to really apply it even though I have read stuff on it. It will be one question we will ask. Believe it or not we are still waiting on approval to go 9 days out. How hopeless is that. We are going regardless.
