Is a Camera Astro Gear?

Hi,

I think I need to apologise to all members in the Brisbane area. I made a camera purchase recently and its been raining or cloudy of the 6 of the last 7 days. Does buying a camera affect the weather in the same way scopes do?
It was purchased for mainly real estate work. However I do intend to learn setting it up on my Celestron 8SE.

Camera is a Canon, 60D.

Cheers

However I do Intend, yep that is enough to make it happen, one just has to think of astro stuff and the clouds appear.LOL.

Hi Leon,

Damn, I was hoping no one would pick that up. I hereby forward my humblest apologies and request a thousand pardons for my unscrupulous behaviour.

Maybe now is the time to lash out and buy a bigger scope. Then blame the weather on my camera.

Cheers

60D, damn right it counts You know what will happen now Marty? Everyone will start to get agitated and start buying more gear to relieve the problem. Its a downward spiral.

I knew there was a reason I was feeling this way. I need a new camera

Ah well, while it's cloudy, one may as well purchase more gear.

Hi Nightshift,

Since you answered, the sky has cleared. You must be correct.

Hi Nightshift, and all,

I am so confused. Its not cloudy but the sky is murky, Thin cloud layer interupting nearly all the sky tonight.

Showers forecast tomorrow.

Hmm! My suspicions lead me to believe that some of you are buying / aquiring new astro gear. Placing the blame on me. "Ho Ho Now's the time. Buy the new stuff. The dollar is up, and Marty gets the blame."

Well it aint gonna work. The camera is for work.

And I am not paranoid. (Its just that every one watching me thinks I am)

Cheers
