[NOT REQUIRED] Rack & Pin focuser shaft - Any condition

I have an old Vixen 80mm refractor but unfortunately the focuser pin has been bent. Unfortunately, obtaining Vixen spare parts for such an old scope is not an option.

Consequently, I am trying to get my hands on any type of old fashioned rack and pin focuser that can be found in old ED80’s etc as I am simply after the actual focuser pin inside that might be able to fit and replace the bent pin in my original Vixen.

A few pictures are included to better illustrate my problem

I will consider anything right up to buying an entire scope (provided it is cheap enough)

It's reasonably common. Take it to an engineer, and get them to straighten it, if a dial gauge is used it will be as good as you need/want.

Alas - no luck with Roberts focuser which turns out not to be a rack and pin focuser but one of the newer rubber wheel type.

Consequently, I have added another picture of my bent pin with a few measurements of the various sections - so - to recap - I am looking for any old focuser which features an old rack and pin focuser from any brand that might come close to these measurements.

I am open to any suggestions - including buying any old synta type scope (if cheap enough) simply to get my hands on the focuser shaft

Take it to a lathe owner - as suggested above - they can straighten it in a few minutes tops - I know I could (any good fitter could probably do it without a lathe)
Pop it in a decent drill chuck and see which way it wobbles and 'ease' it back towards the concentric.

Thanks for the advice - I am certainly heading in the direction of repair but I just wanted to see if there was a spare floating about.
