Professor Brian Cox

Thank you Professor Brian Cox for another lucid, illuminating series.
I wish there were more like you.

There have been plenty of threads about Brian Cox on here, even a few specific to the series' he has been involved in.

I'm assuming he was on TV last night, my Mum came in to tell me "there is a program on the TV about stars" to which I replied "Is the presenter British?". Mum proceeded to look at me strangely when I admitted how absolutely dreamy Brian Cox was. I'm surprised she didn't really agree

Hi,

He certainly gets to visit some good locations. Last night he was at the Victoria Falls (just to photgraph a rainbow in the spray !!), the Namib Desert, and the Canadian Rockies.

He ought to consider doing a travel series next, and throwing in a bit of cosmology here and there.

In the Namib Desert he pulled out a portable radio and played some music. I immediately wondered if it was his own band playing, but wasn't fast enough to hit record and check it out.

Cheers

Yes a great series (didn't see evry episode though).

I am sure the cosmological models and astronomical discoveries presented throughout the show were lapped up enthusiatically by everyone...what's bazzar though is that Brian is a fellow of the Royal Scociety so his president was hosting a show on SBS at the same time lamenting and investigating the route causes of the attacks on science over the evidence on human induced climate change...how ironic.
