Ngc-104
Hi all
Just thought I would share a re-processed picture of NGC-104 taken November last year.
Prime Focus Tak FS-102, f/8, Canon 350D
4 x 30 seconds, RAW images re-processed in ImagesPlus 2.75, combined and rotated, cropped and a slight amount of tweaking.

Hi John,
Looks OK, but where is the colour? Did you desaturate this? There are only "shades of grey"
Cheers

Umm, don't know what happened there, still trying to get around IP, this is a straight combine, nothing done.

Hmm, interesting.
At almost every pixel, the R,G,B values are the same. I would have expected more colour. Can you take a look at a single frame to see if there is any difference?
You can use IP statistics tool to check things out.
Cheers

OK, I'm at a loss on this one. This is a single uncropped RAW converted to a JPG, as it came out of the camera.

Hi John,
There is definitely more colour in this shot than your processed one. I'm not sure what is happening either. As a comparison, here is my NGC104 taken with my 300D. In any case, that TAK sure produces crisp images!
Cheers

Got to be operator error somewhere, IP is not the easiest of programs to get your hands around, back to the video's, me thinks I pressed a wrong button somewhere.

Thats much better John....well done.
Once you get a few simple procedures down pat with Imagesplus the rest just falls into place.
