Close encouters of the third kind (movie)

Just sitting back watching CEOTTK on 7two.
Ahhhh what a great spooky eerie........ movie.............
It's been a few years since I've seen it. I remember watching it back in 1978(?) at the drive in ( Odin drive in, Perth). Mum snuck us in.....There must have been something going on with the Air Force as I clearly remember a jet (mmm mayby f111?) flying over us with its afterburners on. It just set the scene for the night!
I love the cinematography, sounds, suspense, etc etc...

I also remember some sleepless nights thinking aliens would come and get me!

That movie has some great moments. They just don't make them like that anymore! It really builds the suspense up nicely. I recall the scene where they are alone in the house at night and you can see all the spooky lights outside through the blinds... I think I had a few sleepless nights over that one too as a kid.
